Mountain
A nature lover’s haven on 280 hectare SA Natural
Heritage Site, situated on the spectacular Long Tom Pass
(31 km from Lydenburg and 24 km from Sabie). Perched at
an altitude of 1650 metres above sea level in a malaria
free area, Misty Mountain is uniquely set in mountainous
countryside with majestic views across the escarpment
and into the Lowveld.
Twenty seven Chalet units
(total of 84 beds) offering comfortable, country style
accommodation for couples and families, with easy
access to the restaurant and all other facilities. All
chalets have open fireplaces, outdoor verandah,
barbeque, tea/coffee facilities, fridge, mini-stove,
crockery and cutlery.
A 10-Sleeper self-catering farm house is also

 The Woodsman B&B
Choice of 12 Tudor-style suites. Each suite is
decorated with period furniture and Victorian baths and
equipped with M-Net TV, heaters, ceiling fans and
tea/coffee facilities. Selected rooms have balconies and
a view of the valley. Secure undercover parking, and a
Reception Office within the adjacent Woodsman Pub &
Restaurant, where Breakfast is served on the open
terrace or, in cooler weather, near the log fire in the
dining area.
